not sure if leveling my characters/weapons effectively

I've read risend's (awesome) guide, but I'm still skeptical about if my team is too weak for its level, and how I can get stronger more efficiently.

• I've maxed out my Priest/Knight jobs so far to obtain Holy Knight. I'm currently a Fortress for that reason.
  
• I've only leveled characters via quests/events so far.
• I've been feeding normal/rare fodder to my SSR main sword (because I don't have many SR) and I'm worried that that's going to make my sword less strong than it could be.
• I'm currently at Rank 14.

Questions I have are:
1. If I'm waaay too weak for where I should be right now, how can I catch up?
2. What's the proper way of leveling up an SSR weapon? I'm feeding it Normal/SR weapons rn but should I just be patient and wait for SR and use SR instead?
3. How do I obtain stronger summons without throwing money at mobage?
4. Is it smarter to max out all the lower job classes before upgrading to higher job classes?

Nothing to really worry about at rank 14. You get 40 atk every rank until 100 and it is pretty quick to rank 50 if you use your ap efficiently. That will help a bit. Feeding SSR weapons with N/R takes forever, but is fine since you will be using that weapon in all your pools for a while. Best way is feed it SR angel fodder, which is hard to get at your rank. But it isn't a bad idea to stop at rank 30 on that SSR weapon and then just feed any R/SR weapons you have. You can get a bunch of R weapons to lvl 20 pretty fast and that should give you a decent base attack that can get you through most of the beginning stuff. Also make sure you start feeding any SR or better summons you have. If you don't have any, then you can just feed some R ones to give you more base damage.

As far as classes go, I would just make a straight line to dark fencer. So max out your fortress and then max out arcana sword. You should be able to get dark fencer in a couple days or so. I would just spam chapter 10 おいしい珊瑚 until rank 30. It is pretty boring, but by rank 30 you will have dark fencer and everything will seem much easier. Not to mention you will have a lot of fodder from running that chapter. You will be up and running pretty quick this way.

As far as event goes, these story events are pretty nice for the free exp. I usually do these when I have no ap so I can rank up and go back to spamming chapter 10 again ^^

In order to get better summons, you would just need to do the events. But it is pretty hard in the beginning so focus on dark fencer and basic weapon pool first. In a week or two you will be able to do the events better and get a summon. If you have free bp though, feel free to just poke the event raids as you might get lucky or get some decent fodder.

And if you have some free times, try casino. If you can make 25000 chips daily, you will get 5 half-elixir and 10 soul seeds everyday. This should help speeding up the levelling process.

Thanks for being so thorough and informative guys, I have a better grasp on how to go forwards now. I'll do the casino and everything else that's been said. With luck and hard work, those summons will be in my hands in no time. (;

EDIT:

I do have a few more questions about weapon feeding (sorry) and general jargon:

1. Would feeding with N/R keep my SSR's skill from leveling? I was under the assumption that the only way to level skill level is to use a feeder that also has a skill. 

2. I guess what's confusing me is how feeders influence the supposed "max attack" of each weapon. For example, this weapon below has a max atk of 1750. Would I be able to max its attack out to 1750 regardless of what feeders I use? The only difference is that using SSR/SR feeders would get me to max level faster?



3. And um dumb jargon question, but is "awakening" and "limit breaking" something the same thing? I've seen players refer to both of these terms but I wasn't sure if they're interchangeable. And how do you fill up the star levels of something?

1) Your assumption is correct.
2) The max HP/ATK are achieved when you raise the weapon to level 100, without any bonuses (+#). For example, your sword is already +2, so when it gets to level 100, it will have a little more than 150/1750.
3) Limit-breaking is when you add a star level. Not too sure about "awakening".

3. Limit breaking is by adding star to the weapon (by consuming same weapon), Awakening is maybe when you 3* it since when you 3* the weapon/summon, that weapon's Ougi/summon's bonus and damage gets stronger. Not too sure about this as well.

the solo events give pretty decent summons for very few fights, next one is the earth 40% atk one, even at your level you should be able to trade in one at the end
