Newbie Progression Help

I've been reading the ultimate guide and the start dash and stuff and I'm pretty kinda far on that already.

I'm a level 53 and I usually revolve around using Dark Fencer and Hermit. ( but I have Hawkeye and Sword Master)
I think I'm mostly fire based but I'm not quite sure. 
My SSR's are fully capped Magisa,3* Yuel ,3* Nemone and3* Vampy which is a weird composition so I currently run grand order at the moment but I don't think it'll last till late game so I was worried. 
I also ran long them Mary ( SR) because of her delay and bounty.

Got no SSR summon but I have fully capped Omega/Magna Colossus and 0* Ifrit , not sure who to use as lead
since i have no Collossus SSR but I have 2 fully capped SR hammer, 1 fully capped dagger and 1 fully capped gauntlet
plus a fully capped fire sword from the 1st TOA. 

I have 6k gems waiting for legfest and I'm questioning where to go from here ?

1. I run omega colossus 3 times a day but I still haven't gotten an SSR weapon from it ( can't mvp it )
Should i keep on doing this and just keep hitting them also with my 5 ep?

2. Hearing from people that fire is pretty weak in end game makes me think if I should focus on fire if ever
I get a surprise ticket ( like get percival or start with another element )

3. if I continue or not , the answer above will tell me what element ssr to buy with my renown medals. right ?

4. Any other useful tips to help me have my road straight would help . If there is still any ?

You have a good fire team already, just use Ifrit as your summon with Magisa, Yuel, Mary. It's not uncommon for people to use SR in their teams and some SR are even better than the lower end of SSR. Don't use Collo until you have at least 5-6 mixed lv 3/4/5 Collo weapons.

1. Yes you should, though you don't have to commit to purely a single element since if you encounter an event with your weak element you will be screwed. IMO spread a little with a focus of 1 or 2 elements of your choice.

2. End game is a long way ahead, unless you want to buy yourself to victory it's better to just deal with whatever you have atm since you will certainly get a mixed element team. It's also common to use your first strong element to farm your preferred one later. I suggest you just wait for your result at the latest legfest to determine your main course. Just make do with what you have atm.

3. Pretty much.

4. I dunno, just farm events and try to get everything you can with focus on your main strongest element at the time. Also try to master every job if you have the jp, those passives will stack. Are you doing co-op stuff? Do it, it's the best way to earn rupee and exp, and you need to access the later stages to unlock more jobs.

Thanks , I reckon I should be saving my renown medals as well to the path I take on whatever I get at the upcoming legfest as well. I'll just ask again when the time comes and when there might be a surprise ticket. I probably should buy that if ever.

I would just add (having just hit rank 80 after 2.5 months of play):

- Farm Tiamat (hard version, 25ap) with your main fire team to collect gold animas. Don't use them yet. Once you have a fire setup that can reliably MVP omega Tiamat (50ap version), spend those animas to get good wind drops and then with a decent wind team MVP'ing Yggdrasil is very easy. With this you get to 3 solid teams, weapon-wise, in a "short" time. Leviathan, Colossus, Chevalier and Celeste are much harder to MVP.
- Try to get the 500+500 renown pendants from rare and Srare bonus each week (build 2 teams with 3 R charas and 3 SR charas). Very easy because you just need to hit once in the raid to get the bonus. With some added RP you should be able to buy at least an SSR weapon every 3 weeks, will help a lot when you can focus on your main color.
- Learn to use Tweetdeck and join bahamut raids to collect and uncap an MLB rusted dagger, hoping for a baha horn flip --> baha dagger that can really push all your teams in this phase
- Do your co-op assignments every day, those blue crystals take a lot of time to farm and once you need them you can't really force it
- Find stuff that you like doing, for the moments when you want to die after mind-numbing grinds

Just recently rolled at legfest with 12,000 crystals. Only got zeta and teena are they any good ? Also just got a colossus carbine recently too. Thats pretty much my progress orz

Zeta is meh, she's okayish break assassin character after her buff but she can't do much if the enemy is not in break state. Teena is a great SR with heals, rage II and after her 5*, blind. Your fire team is pretty good now.

Should I go Yuel,Magisa,Mary front , zeta and teena sub or Yuel, Magisa , Teena Front , Zeta and mary sub. Not sure how I should go with this but someone told me I should keep Zeta on sub so that when Magisa dies , almost always the enemy is on break xD Thanks for sticking with me reyva xD

Depends on what you want really, if you need delay and TH use Mary, if you need extra heal and/or using EX blind use Teena, if you can break the enemy in 1 turn use zeta, etc.

Granblue don't really have fixed team, different bosses will need different strategies. While there might be a 'best' team for general situation there might be a boss mechanic that counters it. Just try it out and see what works for you.

With the upcoming suptix rumors that I heard , I asked the group but they're kinda half/half on which should I pick for the suptix ? Should I go Percival or Clarice ? My team right now consists of Magisa/Yuel/Metera with Zeta/Teena supp. Which one would benefit me most in MVP'ing magna colossus ? Thanks again xD

Eh, neither would have helped much with Collo since what they bring to the fight is kinda irrelevant against him.

Percy is the fire lord, he is what people would say the face of fire because of FEAR. This is the skill that define fire because no other element has access to it (dark has it too but it's Legfest exclusive character and not easily available). The problem against collo is that, being the same element it would only land rarely if ever, not to mention fear is kind hard to land in the first place without -debuff resist. Percy will still hit hard without fear, but Magisa and Metera can do that as well.

Clarisse on the other hand is mostly support. She's what would've helped you landed fears and reach the -def cap together with mist. She also has a dispel that took 1-5% of a boss's health with it and a normal damage duration that's kinda unremarkable. Neither of this will help much against collo.


Tl;dr if you really need to choose between the 2, Percy is better, Clarisse is an add on to Percy anyway. What do you have for other elements anyway?
