This is a story event, a continuation of "The Shrine Maiden of the Sand God". Sarah has a SSR version in gacha. Solid is the one with the 5th star, sorry for the confusion. Forgot about that. Boremia now has a SR version, available for free when you fill up her trust bar. There will be two challenge quests this time.
During this time, there will also be a 1/2 AP/BP campaign for all main quests and for main story multi raids. It is a good time to farm for animas for magnas, magnas, or finish up quests. The 1/2 AP/BP campaign lasts 2 weeks so it doesn't end same time as this event.
Other new stuff
Siegfried SSR has joined us finally.
Medusa (new earth summon, 50% to earth, 80% at max lb)
Currently only the first half of the story is available. The second half will come out on February 3rd with the rest of the chapters and the extreme/hell version of the raid. Guide for those will come out then. For now like in other story events it is a good time to focus on gathering mats in order to host the extremes when it comes. Which basically means spam very hard raids as much as you can. Bring treasure hunt in order to get more out of your runs.
Also since theres a special 1/2 AP/BP campaign going on at the same time, you might want to balance your time between the two in order to get the most out of the events or skip this event in favor of the other. The summon isn't that great, but if you don't have any water summons it is ok. The weapon is alright, nothing particularly great. Though if you need a water harp, then this is a good time to grab one for your superstar.
When the trust points reach max you can keep Boremia. As long as she is in your party, even as a sub she will earn trust points. Make sure you fill it up before event ends or you will not keep her. VH mats are farmed from the HARD version and used to host the VERY HARD raid. The EX mats are used to host EXTREME version and is farmed from VERY HARD raid.
虞洪: Deals Water damage and casts attack down for 3 turns.
悲閃: Deals AOE Water damage and casts blind for 3 turns.
怨叫: Deals AOE Water damage and casts curse (unable to heal) for 2 turns.
ナミダ: Deals Water damage 3x at random targets.
オエツ: Deals AOE Water damage and casts blind.
消願: Deals AOE Water damage and casts a DOT (lasts 5 turns) and a debuff that lowers your ougi gauge by 15% per turn (3 turns).
EXTREME VIDEO GAMEPLAY
Nothing special here, Dark Fencer with Rage III for more damage. When it transforms at 50% it will hit a lot harder so you want to save your ougi and abilities to burst through this part. If you are going to invite pub, then you want to go with whatever class you have that does the most damage (sidewinder, weaponmaster, etc) so you can get as much points as you can. Or you can try using Dark fencer and hitting it a few times before opening it to public to get a head start in points. I used to do this to ensure MVP when I was really weak.
The hell version is pretty much the same as the other versions. The only thing to be careful about is at 25% HP since it will cast 消願 which pretty much hurts like hell. Save your ougi in order to burst through this part. If you are new, it is perfectly acceptable to use 1 elixir in order to finish the HELL boss off if you needed to. Then never do it again, until you can do it without using an elixir.
Hell is so easy I didn't even equip my EX skill, lol. I recommend equipping something, anything helps. Armor break or rage for more damage, arrow rain or blind for more survival. As usual, Dark Fencer is best for solo unless you are absurdly strong.
Challenge quest 1
Use the highest priest class you have for the heals. Any EX is fine as long as it is not a debuff, since they don't seem to land. As for elements you can go wind to take less damage/do more or go with earth for synergy with boremia. Best summon would be cybele (キュベレー) for the hp regen if you are going earth or anything that provides def up for survival. A lot of people have sajitarius so it shouldn't be too hard to find a good wind summon with def up skill. Good summon subs would be anything that gives you more survivability.
You pretty much just need to grind her down to 50% HP since she does the rest for you. Use boremia's 3rd skill to remover boss's def up. Save your ougi until after you have removed it. She refreshes her def up when she fills up her bar. At 50% she attacks with her special and then drops down to no hp. Make sure to have some sort of def up before then like boremia's 2nd skill. And save boremia's ougi when you are close to 50% since you need to use that in order to kill her after she drops herself to no hp.
Challenge quest 2
I recommend Dark Fencer with blind as your EX skill. Gravity and the def down part of miserable mist always misses, but the delay and attack down are still good for surviving. These with Sarah and Boremia's defensive skills make it a relatively easy challenge. Just save Sarah's 2nd skill for enemy's ougi. Cast Boremia's 2nd and 3rd skill whenever they are up to mitigate damage. At 50% HP the boss goes into enraged mode, where he hits a bit harder and uses a different ougi.
