Since new characters come out from time to time, it is important to check back when you feel lost. Shoot me a PM and I'll update this thread.

Basic:
1) Any characters you like
2) Any SSR characters from either Fire, Water, Earth, or Wind
3) Any SSR characters from either Light or Dark
Advanced:
Please note that any characters listed are SSR.

2) For new players (Start-Dash ticket) - focus on characters that can carry teams early game:

Reasoning:
Because of the amount of Fire/Water/Earth/Wind events in Granblue, it is not recommended to get Light/Dark characters. The best timing to get them is when you have 2 or 3 SSR characters per element. Summons are not recommended at all because of how useless they are in actual battles. Generally, they can only be used once per 9 turns. It is also very easy to stack summons from events.
